The Social Baby: Understanding Babies' Communication from Birth - Lynne Murray/Liz Andrews |
L Murray & L Andrews (2000)
Here at last is a book that confirms what you always suspected: that your baby is a unique individual with her own likes and dislikes, and her own strengths and weaknesses. No two babies are the same, and no set of rules can be applied to all.
The difficulty is interpreting what your baby is showing you. With over 700 video stills, The Social Baby clearly shows you how. The book deals with crying, sleeping and the baby's social world from the moment of birth to three months.

| I love this book. This is more pictures than words but it shows how the baby reacts to those around it. It is amazing how much detail the baby is communicating. The first chapter is a series of photos from a babys first 20 minutes. I wish that I had read the book before giving birth so I could have appreciated evrything that she was communicating to me. Id really recommend it. |
