Research has shown that sleeping alongside your baby improves your chance of breastfeeding. Being close to your new baby all night so you can see her feel her hear her and smell her while each having your own sleeping space gives you the best of both worlds. The safest place for a baby is to sleep in her parents room. After being in day and night contact with you for the nine months of pregnancy being able to stay close to you all night is good for your baby and lovely for you.
BedNest have created a stylish new design of alongside cot, made with a lightweight wood frame and nylon fabric washable sides . The cot comes complete with a foam mattress, requires no assembly and is ready to use in seconds.
The fully adjustable base is secured to your bed with a strap which works with fame and divan beds. The cot top fixes securely to this. When alongside your bed the cot is easily adjusted to be level with your mattress. The fabric side is lowered onto your mattress to allow you to move your baby in and out of your bed whilst you are lying down.
You might prefer to lower it half way so you can stroke or reassure your baby during the night without her being able to wriggle into your bed.
